Lexi is a long standing member of the accounts team. She joined HCS Accountants in 2009, and following the completion of her professional qualifications, is now a member of AECE (Association of Accountants & Tax Experts of Spain).
Lexi works with our larger corporate clients, and specialises in the analysis of their accounts and financial matters. Thus, providing them with meaningful information from which to base decision making that drives their businesses forward.
As our in-house payroll advisor, Lexi also works closely with our employment lawyer and payroll team to assist our business clients in all aspects of their Spanish payroll, Social Security and employment law requirements.
Anna joined us as our Junior Accountant. Liaising with clients, she is the Account Manager for a number of our business clients, compiling their accounts and providing analysis and update on their results. Anna is native Spanish and fluent in English.
Anna is also taking professional courses to advance towards her membership of AECE.
Zoryana joined us as our new Trainee Accountant. Originally from Ukraine, she works with our small business clients in the compilation of their quarterly and annual accounts. Zoryana is fluent in English and Spanish, as well as her native Ukrainian language, which has been very valuable in helping our new clients from this part of the world with interests in Spain.
Zoryana also deals with our International Online Seller Clients, managing the VAT registration and ongoing compliance for foreign companies with their obligations in Spain. Liaising with the Spanish tax authorities to complete the requirements for new clients, she then completes the ongoing quarterly VAT filings and compliance.
Stephen is our Accounts Assistant and Tax Office Guru. His background is in Spanish administration, having previously worked in Benitachell town hall, which has proved to be an advantage when dealing with necessary bureaucracy.
As well as working on the compilation of our business client accounts, he has developed a good working relationship with our local Tax Office to assist with administrative matters relating to Tax inspections and other correspondence on behalf of our clients. He is native English and fluent in Spanish.
Ginna joined the team as our new Tax Trainee. Her role is to specialise in the areas of personal taxation in Spain, and manages our non-business clients. She assists all of our personal clients with their Spanish tax obligations, whether they be resident or non-residents of Spain. She is here to address all client queries and concerns they have about their personal tax matters, and maintains an eye on all updates and changes in the legislation that may impact them in the future.
Ginna is fluent in English and Dutch, as well as her native Spanish language.
Maria joined our team as our office receptionist and general administration manager. She is the sunny voice at the end of our phone, and handles our external correspondence by email, assisting clients with general enquiries and office appointments.
She also keeps our office records in very good order with her exceptional organisation skills.
Toby is our office mascot and final important member of the HCS Accountants Team. He is a happy little dog, who greets us all with a wagging tail. He is great for team morale and office security!
José is our Employment Lawyer and part of our team that manages all our clients’ payroll and employee contracts.
He also advises on all Social Security and State Pension matters.
HCS Accountants refers all legal and inheritance tax matters to our Associate Lawyer Raul Laufente Jorge. He is available for client appointments in our Denia office, and being fluent in both English and German, is a valuable asset to our team.
Raul is a general practice lawyer, who regularly represents clients in the courts of Denia and gives personalized consultations for professional legal advice.
He gives inheritance planning, and also executes the estates of our clients after arranging their Spanish wills.
HCS Accountants refers clients with any French interests to our preferred partner Petersonsims Ltd, a well-respected accountancy practice with bases both in the UK and France.
Through our relationship with Gerry Simms and his team, we are also able to facilitate assistance with UK tax matters and returns.
